Short answer
Before each draft Sufflera gathers the fan's history and card, the creator's persona and her current mood. It writes one reply, then checks it for invented facts, broken or unfinished text, banned topics and the wrong language. Only a draft that passes is shown to you, and a person still decides what is sent.
What goes into a draft?
A draft is written fresh each time, from what Sufflera knows at that moment:
| Source | What it adds |
|---|---|
| His last messages | What the reply has to answer, everything since the creator last wrote |
| The conversation history | What was already said, so nothing is repeated or contradicted |
| His card | Your notes, standing instructions for the AI, its memory of him, tags, how much he has spent |
| Where the conversation is | Its stage, how warm it is, whether he is close to an offer |
| The persona | Her voice, example replies, limits, the topics she never discusses |
| Her mood right now | Her current mood, the time of day where she lives, what has happened to her recently |
| Your hint | One line of steering for this reply, if you wrote one |
| An attached item | If you attached media to offer: what it is and what it costs |
How is it checked before you see it?
Each reply is checked against three things:
- Your rules. Banned topics, phrases she never uses, tone and length.
- The facts. What the fan said, bought and was sent (his card). A draft that invents a girlfriend he never mentioned, a purchase that did not happen, a price you do not charge or a photo “attached below” that is not there does not pass.
- The message itself. It has to be complete, in the right language, answer what he asked, and contain nothing that reads like instructions or a note to someone else.
There are fast checks that catch broken text outright, and a careful read for the subtler problems. Both run before the draft reaches the panel. A few things they stop:
| The draft says… | Why it does not pass |
|---|---|
| “how’s your girlfriend?” | He never mentioned one |
| “thanks for buying the beach set!” | There is no such purchase on his card |
| “it’s $15, babe” | The set is priced at $35 |
| “pics below 😘” | Nothing is attached |
| “Sure! Here’s a flirty reply:” | A note to the chatter, not a message to him |
| a reply that stops mid-sentence | Cut off, so it is held for a person |
What happens when a check fails?
Most problems are fixed before you notice: the reply is rewritten and checked again, and what reaches you is the corrected draft.
Sometimes a draft arrives with a note suggesting a closer look, usually because the conversation has gone somewhere that deserves a person’s judgement. That is advice, not a lock; Send stays available.
One thing is a lock. A reply that came back unfinished, cut off or with a gap left in it is marked Needs review, and Copy, Insert and Send wait until you edit it and press Re-check text, or generate again. That rule applies to people and to the autopilot alike.
Why a failed generation is not charged
One press of Generate costs one draft, however many rewrites and checks happen inside it. If the whole attempt fails and no draft comes back, the draft is returned to your allowance. You pay for drafts you receive, not for attempts.
Two other things cost a draft each: re-checking a draft after you edit it, and translating an edited draft in two-language mode.
Working in two languages
If your chatter writes English and the fan writes Spanish, turn on Bilingual replies, in the panel’s settings or in the dashboard under Settings → Drafts. The reply is written in his language, which is what gets sent, and a copy in yours appears beneath it to read and edit. His messages are shown translated, with the original one click away.
The translation is checked like everything else: a translated draft does not get to skip the rules the original had to pass.
How to steer it
Rewriting a draft by hand is the slow way, and it is also how a persona drifts toward the chatter’s own style (what makes a persona work). A one-line hint and a new draft is faster, and the result still sounds like her rather than like you.

| You want | Write in the hint |
|---|---|
| A shorter reply | much shorter, two lines |
| To say no kindly | politely decline, stay warm, change the subject |
| To lead toward an offer | mention the new set, don’t give a price yet |
| A different tone | teasing rather than sweet |
| To buy time | she’s busy, promise a proper reply tonight |
A hint applies to one generation only and is never saved. If the same hint keeps coming back for one fan, it belongs in his Instructions for the AI; if it comes back for every fan, the persona needs it.
Rate drafts with thumbs up or down in the dashboard. The ratings show up in Analytics and tell a manager which creators need work on their persona.
